AB now NFL's highest paid receiver

4 years at 68mil. Per Schefter.

The average per year of $17 million is tops in the NFL, well ahead of Julio Jones ($15M), but we won’t know the entire picture until the guaranteed money is verified.

I wonder if there is a "no video post-game" clause in the contract!!

God I hope so.

Not bad for a 6th Rd pick from Central Michigan. The Steelers really struck gold with that selection

Not so good news for Le'veon Bell I would think.
He just got tagged today. Likely to come in at 12.4 mil. They have until 7/15 to negotiate a long term deal or he'll have to play on that tag. I'd say he's doing just fine. Not to mention, the owner said he expects him to retire a Steeler. And they have cap room and the number is expected to be between 164 and 169mil.

He will sign he wants to be a Steeler!

Right, they are not getting rid of him and less he has another bad drug test. No way you let him go

I'd guess that the language related to possible suspensions/bans will be the lengthy negotiations.

It's not a matter of wanting to sign, can they afford to put that much $$ into 3 players. Rothlisberger's cap hit for 2017 will be $18.2m and goes to $23.2 for 2018 and 2019. You only have so much money to spend.

I like this deal, I think they are overpaying for a player that has the potential to be an internal issue.

With that said, he is a terrific WR.

I'd imagine OBJ will be signing a similar contract in a couple years.
