Male vs Owensboro

Featured Replies

I don't have much of a sense for how good the Red Devils are. I expect them to have a good amount of speed and they seem to have turned the program around from where it was the past few seasons. Any thoughts on this game?

They r a fine defensive team. Not sure what thier offensive struggles are!

The boro has a quick and aggressive defense. However, they are undersized. Nick Hall is a pretty quick running back for the red devils, however, he's no Beaumont. Male wins....by at least 14!:thumb:

Another long ride to the game, and an even longer one after.

I thought you were a Male fan. You surely don't think they will lose?

Male 34-14.

Is there anyone else in 4A that will get within two or three touchdowns of Male, St. Xavier and Trinity?

I think you cant count out PRP. Last year, Coach Redman stated that out of all the teams on his schedule, PRP was the one he feared preparing for the most. He has gone up against X for so long, he knows what they are going to do...but PRP has the speed and talent overall to match up. I dont know if the Panthers win...but I bet its a lot closer than what many people will think...especially since PRP is trying to make some noise in this district. With this game being the District Opener for both of them...I look for a 35-31 score in that game.

Maybe, but PRP is apparently not totally healthy right now. Their scores suggest that they still have a way to go to challenge the consensus top-three teams in 4A.

Strike-3, yeah I'm a fan, my son plays. What I meant was going down there around 3PM you don't mind the drive. Stopping to eat, checking out the field, gametime, its all fun. Then win or lose its around 10:30 EST and Now you have the 2 and half hour ride home. Think about my "Poor wife" having to be in the car with me...talking football.

You can always pay the "Moonlite" a visit ... problem is, you'll want to take a nap afterwards instead of watching the game.

Is this game being carried on the radio in Owensboro/western Kentucky? I would love to find an internet broadcast.

Probably not. They carry one game a week on local radio, and with Apollo playing Daviess Co. the same night you can bet that they will be there instead. They usually always pick games between two local teams.

Male is looking real good right now. If they don't win it all they will come very close
