Adair County 66 Bryan Station 47

Featured Replies

Adair improves to 27-1 with the road win. Cameron Lasley led the Indians with 19.

I went to this game hoping to see if Adair is really a top 10-15 team in the state, and I walked away uncertain.

I didn't think Adair looked that good against a Bryan Station team that didn't play its regulars for a lot of the game.

However Adair, without arguably it's best player, won on the road by 19 against a relatively athletic team, despite not looking great.

Only top 10 teams Scott Co (38 and 34) and Dunbar (21 and also 5) have defeated the Defenders by more.

Yes the Indians were without top scorer Kel Stotts who averages 22 ppg

Was it more precautionary or is the groin still bothering him. I have no doubt they are a top ten team. I've watched as all these so called top ten to fifteen teams go by the wayside all year long. When they are healthy Adair can play with almost anyone in the state

I know absolutely NOTHING about this team, but I am not impressed at all with their schedule. 11 wins vs. teams that have 10 wins or less, 5 of those with 5 wins or less.

Kinda hard to gauge them as a top 10-15 team with that kind of a schedule no matter what their record is.

Precautionary just resting up for postseason I think.

Well here is some of their top wins

Larue County(21-7)- Won 73-59 without top scorer

North Hardin(21-7)- Came back from 19 down to win 81-76

Mercer County(20-7)- Won 82-64

Greenwood(17-12)- Won 63-45 Same team that played within 10 to BG both times.

Taylor County(15-12)- Won 68-64, and won 83-72

Only loss is by 3 to a 19-9 Collins on a neutral court.

I saw those teams, but they too played heavily in the 5th Region against the same teams that had the same records as the ones I mentioned earlier.

I'm not trying to discount what they have done, getting to a record like that is tough to do, I will just have to see how it shakes out in the Sweet 16 I guess to see what they've got.

It is hard to compare the points in defeats with common opponents, but as comparison purpose both Fern Creek and Trinity from the 6th & 7th beat Taylor County by close to 30 points. In FC's game, it was held on TC's home court. I would say that AC could be very good, but the record itself doesn't tell the entire story as they have not really faced a tough schedule as noted by everyone. That said, Coach Breeze is a very good coach and some great players who many played for him in the past on the AAU circuit in middle school. So they have a lot going for them. Congrats on a great season.

Fern Creek and Trinity are very good teams; along with Bowling Green and a couple of more. But across the state there aren't many good to great teams out there. I can see the argument over the schedule but I think they may surprise some people come tourney time. Too many teams this year have been over hyped and the hype machine continues....you know who you are

Those wins don't really impress me that much.

More to my point Dunbar loses to West Jess and we call it a trap game. There are just a couple of dominant teams in the state....so to discount AC as top ten I think is unfair. I don't know how a team can go on the road and beat a team by 20 without their best player; and you come away unimpressed.
