Cozart, a 6' 7" sophomore with a 7' 2" wing span has set the state block record in a single season, with 191 blocks after last night Franklin County game. The record was 190 (2016) held by Graves County big man, Chris Vogt.

 

The future is bright for the Indians and Cozart. His offensive is improving every game out, and he is learning how to stay out of foul trouble. A name that will become a familiar one in the next couple of years. Congratulations BIG man:thumb:

Agree the future is bright and what makes it fun to cheer for him is that he is a really special kid off the floor who works hard. He could have a really high ceiling with his skills and work ethic.

Not sure of that number either.......he had 120 last year, so a 70 block improvement year to year would be a nice start in chasing it down.

I don't think he played Varsity as an 8th grader, (that info is from my son who plays with him). Started last year as a freshman I know for sure.
