When my brother had his daughter a little over 2 years ago, my mom and dad decided on Grammy and Pops. Well, when she started speaking she got the Grammy part down, but instead of Pops, my dad was "Pot". So for my niece and my little guy they're officially Grammy and Pot now. :lol2:

I am Pops. Mrs. doomer is Gigi.

 

My oldest son's daughters have 3 sets of grandparents as my DIL's parents were divorced when she was young. We had to decide on our grandparent names early on.

 

My paternal grandfather whom I am named after (I am a III) was your typical Irish immigrant, and we all called him Pops. I was very close to him, and I am carrying on the tradition.
