Looks like the 6th grade boys for Conner won their group. You can follow them at the KBA website.

They should start the single elimation games around 3pm I believe.

Conner wins the afternoon game. They play tomorrow. Congratulations on making it to the sweet 16 of the tournament.

Conner plays Elkwood Middle @ 8:35 Sunday.

Conner beats Elkwood Middle by 15. Sets up a 11:50 match vs North Oldham. N Oldham is very good and should be a close game. Check out the KBA website for updates on the game.

Thanks for the updates @kyag. Hope Campbell and the rest of the boys play well and have a great time.

Good luck boys. I think its great when northern Kentucky middle schools compete in this voluntary tournament, wish that more did.

Hearing that Hamilton, Lohr, and Campbell are doing well. N Oldham has a very nice team, Conner will need play physical and keep the game moving fast.

I know its a Kenton County Board issue, that's why More teams from KC don't play in it.

Is this the True Conner MS team or is it the Select team @kyag.

It is the middle school team with the middle school coach. This is a really neat event the boys get to participate in. You really see a lot of talent and can compare your team to those of the state.

Here are some of the games from today...I bet the 78-77 game was a dandy! I believe N Laurel has Jeff Shepards kid on it.

78-77 in 6 minute qtrs tells me no team had an interest in playing any defense. Those games bore me.

Glad to see 3 teams from my OVC Conference (Boyd, McKell, and Mason Co.) interesting that they all 3 ended up playing each other.

I was able to watch all three OVC teams play, all three looked very solid! I thought Boyd had the best player and the best team out of the three teams even though they suffered a 2 point loss to Mckell-

Bright future for all 3-

Thanks our conference has some good young talent Ashland has a good 6th grade team as well and a really good 7th grade team. Also Elliott Co. has a really good 7th and 8th grade teams. I think their 8th grade is planning on playing in the 8th grade KBA state tournament.

Congrats to Landen Halmiton for making 2nd team all tournament in last weekends 6th grade state tournament-
