38th District 2006-2007

Yes Harrison did lose Adam Custard, Adam Cunningham, and Cory Britt. But i believe that Harrison will win the district this year, because they have enough talent. I'm not just saying this because im from Harrison either. I believe it will be a close game between HC and PC but HC will win in the long run i believe.

What's the difference man? You have to play the games to advance on to the the region no matter who it is you have to play.

Well last year there was a big difference between Harrison and Nicholas/Deming (whichever one made it). Had it been seeded, both first round games would have been a blow, and the championship would have been played the last day instead of in the opening round...

But I guess if that is what it takes to get your team to the Region, I would just pray for the luck of the draw too...What's the point of playing district teams if you are not going to seed???

Good point.:ylsuper:

Good point, good point. PC should be ranked above HC because they are the defending champs. But I think that the underdog will come through in the end. Even if no one says they are. They don't seem like anyone is giving HC or anyone besides PC a chance. (Not that PC isnt a good school) But others should be just as good or worthy as them. All I'm saying is that you would be surprised at how many upsets there are in sports. Just look at the NCAA mens basketball tourny last year!:thumb:

My point is, it doesn't matter who you play against, you have to play the games to win, so why is seeding soo important?? By the way Deming went last year to the 10th region and if you follow the teams they did give Mason County a heck of a ballgame, and then of course Mason County won and beatPC.

Why should the District Championship Game be a first round game? The KHSAA should step up and make all Districts seed.

I guess losing to Mason by 15 is playing a heck of a game for Deming...

Fast forward please didn't we have this argument last year??? So you think Deming and Nicholas County don't desrve any recongition at all just because the 2 BIGGER schools are the only schools that matter??:p Remeber Harrison and Pendleton may face the same problems that Deming and Nicholas are having now, Limited resources and small schools usually don't stack up very well against schools like these but there will come a day. And it maybe this year .......I can always be hopeful can't I?

Mason beat Clark in the finals.

Overall I think last year it should have been Pendleton vs. Nicholas in the first round, and then Harrison vs. Deming. Then the winners play each other which probably would have been Harrison vs. Pendleton anyways. If you ask me when PC played HC in the tourny last year first round that was pretty much the championship. Don't you think that is why the crowd was going so wild???

No problem with this, my point was it doesn't matter who you play, you got to play the game to win, as for this seeding the district, you still have to play to go on to the region.

If I had any say how the district draws or seed I would be all for it, win or lose your not going unless you play the game.

It was alot less then most thought Deming would lose by, and they did play The Royals pretty tough thru the game, but bench depth vs. Mason County was the deciding factor in this game, only thing the Devils could is get ready for this season.
