  1. UK..thats why we SUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! we need a mr basketball from our own state to lead us..maybe we could get a win from a team in the top 100 and beat them by 20..
  2. lucky shot..i saw the game..but when the game is on the line..what do you do? that right you take the ball to the rack!
  3. Tonights game was very very good. This game went into Overtime at the score tied 50 to 50 in regulation. Jared Martin,Matthew Dye, and Malcolm Thomas all scored in double figures. Marcus Custard had 5, Drew Thompson 3 and Zack Turner had 2. At half time the breds were down by 10 and came back firing at all angles to arrive at a 53-57 lead in overtime with about 30 seconds left on the clock. After that a couple of Lex Cath players layed the ball up to tie the score at 57 all. Then after the breds shot went off the Lex Cath guard hit a 3 in the corner to put them ahead by 3 with only 1.6 left on the clock. With that time left Marcus Custard heaved a half court shot only to fall short of the knights. VERY VERY GOOD GAME.
  4. Well i was there and he had 10, maybe 12 pts at the most.
  5. They did ok. Close game during the 1st half at half time Harrison was up by 8. Then Harrison hit a run. I think Dillon Greene had about 6 or 8 pts. The referees called a carry on him most of the time down the court.
  6. The Harrison County center had 11 points against Deming and 8 against Pendleton. HC's guards had 11 and 13 in both contests and Harrisons PF had 8 and 9 in both contests.
  7. Today 4 teams had a tournament at the Hilltop in Harrison County. Deming, Cov. Scott, Pendleton and Harrison were the teams who participated in this. The first game was Deming and Harrison in this contest Harrison came away with a 34-43 win over Deming. Then Cov. Scott played Pendleton in their first game, They won by 4. The Consolation game was Cov Scott vs. Deming with Deming winning big over the Eagles. Then the championship was the Breds against the Pendleton co. Wildcats. Harrison took this victory and won the tournament at home with a 56-38 win over the Wildcats. Monday the Breds play Lex Cath. Tuesday they play Brossart at Brossart then Thursday they play @ Bourbon.
  8. Well referees really didnt let either team play too physical so he only had 3 points but he played very well defense. He had 4 fouls though. Not one of his best games. Dye had 17 pts and Martin chipped in with 14 i think. Thomas also had 4 fouls. Overall not a very physical game.
  9. Harrison Co. and Montgomery Co. did battle tonight and won by 14. In the beginning Harrison took a quick lead 22-3. Then at the half it turned out as 30-16. After that Harrison never looked back with a quick win. Next Game Harrison has on its list is Monday @ Bracken Co.
  10. It was like he went to go shoot it and the player guarding him jumped so he dished it off to his team mate on the other side of the basket. VERY VERY good assist:jump:
  11. Harrison county was down at halftime by 10 the score was 21 to 11 at the half. Both teams played well with tough defense so this was a low scoring game. Then in the 2nd half the young breds came out ready to play and went on a 6-0 scoring run. Towards the end of the game with about 20 seconds left the Breds were down by 1 (34-35) then Malcolm Thomas threw a fake shot to Zack Turner and Turner layed it in to get the Breds ahead by 1. When Campbell co. came down the court to shoot a last second shot Malcolm Thomas stole the pass and got fouled to shoot a pair of free-throws. He sunk them both and sealed the game 38-35. Harrison County won the game. HCHS (frosh) next game will be Thursday against Montgomery County and it will be played at HCHS gym at 7:00pm. :dancingpa
  12. Harrison Co. played Hanry Co. friday with the fresh team winning, JV winning and Varsity losing. Saturday the main event was Mason Co. and Rose Hill. Mason Co.of course won both contests JV and Varsity big.
  13. Wow, there are almost 300 kids in my freshmen class!!!
  14. Not all of them are 6 foot I meant all are ABOVE 6 foot. C: Josh Curtis- bout 6 foot 3/ 6 foot 4 PF: Weston Jenkins- bout 6''1'/ 6''2' SF: Jim Mullins- 6''2' SG: Julius Talbott- 6'0'' PG: Andrew Case- 6'0''
  15. I'm not sure which game it was but Harrison beat Brossart last year, because i was there. I am a freshmen now at Harrison. But just losing Custard, Britt, and Cunningham isn't THAT big of a loss. They are now starting mostly seniors this year and will have a very good team! Here is Harrison's line-up i think this year... C: Josh Curtis (beast inside and can knock down the short jumper) PF: Weston Jenkins (beast inside) SF: Jim Mullins (very good penetrater and can shoot the 3 well) SG: Julius Talbott (very skilled player and goodpenetrater) PG: Andrew Case (runs the court like crazy very good PG) All of which are about 6 foot. This team is going to be real. You can put my word on it!
  16. This is good, however this is how i would do things: 1. Mason co. 2.GRC 3.Montgomery co. 4.Harrison co. 5.Bishop Brossart 6.PC 7.Bourbon 8.Augusta 9.Scott 10.St. Patrick I believe Harrison can overcome Bishop Brossart they beat them last year! Why not this year? The Varsity team didn't lose anyone except Adam Custard,Cory Britt, and Adam Cunningham. Take it from me. I am a freshmen at Harrison. I have faith!
  17. I am sorry if this is a repeat, but i was wondering what everyone thought about the 10th region this year. Who do you think is going to win it and who is going to have a great season this year? Lets see your top ten.
  18. Overall I think last year it should have been Pendleton vs. Nicholas in the first round, and then Harrison vs. Deming. Then the winners play each other which probably would have been Harrison vs. Pendleton anyways. If you ask me when PC played HC in the tourny last year first round that was pretty much the championship. Don't you think that is why the crowd was going so wild???
  19. Good point, good point. PC should be ranked above HC because they are the defending champs. But I think that the underdog will come through in the end. Even if no one says they are. They don't seem like anyone is giving HC or anyone besides PC a chance. (Not that PC isnt a good school) But others should be just as good or worthy as them. All I'm saying is that you would be surprised at how many upsets there are in sports. Just look at the NCAA mens basketball tourny last year!:thumb:
  20. I am a freshmen from HC, and here is our line-up for the varsity. C: Josh Curtis- Great Rebounder, inside scorer, and shot blocker F:Weston Jenkins- Rough inside, Great inside scorer F:Jim Mullins- Has major hops, Shoots the 3 well, Penetrates well. G:Andrew Case- Shoots the 3 good, Runs the floor well. G:Julius Talbot- Penetrates well, Runs the court well, shoots well This season should b a bright one everybody! :dancingpa
  21. Yes Harrison did lose Adam Custard, Adam Cunningham, and Cory Britt. But i believe that Harrison will win the district this year, because they have enough talent. I'm not just saying this because im from Harrison either. I believe it will be a close game between HC and PC but HC will win in the long run i believe.
