Really good game tonight up in the Fort. Really impressed with McGuire from Newport, although late in the game he was forced to hurry some shots. Burries and Miller equally impressive, but would have liked to have seen Harmon assert himself more.

Great game tonight Birds! Way to play hard all game.

Nice game for the Birds. The final 2 minutes left me scratching my head, though. Up by 8 and the Birds commit several unnecessary fouls, sending Newport to the line, and on the other end, putting up quick shots from awkward angles, taking on multiple defenders with the dribble, allowing Newport to hang around much too long. Sisson looked very confident and poised. He is going to be a good one. Finney is a beast!

Sisson has a ton of potential on the gridiron as well.

Impressive JV team of sophomores...lots and lots of tall, thin, talented basketball players on that Fort squad...fun to watch. And Salter's 2 handed rebound dunk at the end of OT Frosh game was very exciting in great game...thought he broke the rim/backboard on his attempted stick back - HHS has quite a bit of talent working thru hoops - great to see!

Liked what I saw from this squad last night. Obviously still some room for improvement, but things heading in the right direction.
