Way to go, Rocks! On to Muhlenburg County tomorrow, then the LIT next week.

Per radio announcers after the game, St X had 15 made FG's to Trinity's 12 made FG's but Trinity was 32/37 from FT line. Jacob King did play some in his 1st game of the season. On his way back

T made 17 of 20 FT's in the 4th quarter to salt the game away.

It was more than fair. You couldn't drive into the lane against X without being fouled. Watching X play basketball is like watching paint dry. I think it gave them their best chance to win, but oh my it is bad to watch. They are a very good rebounding team. They need to either hope they can alter shots to create a lot of rebound opportunities, or hope that the other team will miss their free throws. Trinity was too much for X to alter the shots without fouling. Trinity was also good at the line. Thus the outcome.

And we could very well see a quick rematch Wednesday night.

X could not match Trinity's team quickness, the only chance that had to stop then was to foul. It didn't work.

Very similar to the gridiron, too many athletes for X to handle. Especially this year without a big time scorer like they had last year, the main way for X to beat quality opponents is to make it an ugly low scoring affair.

Did X score 51 or 50 points? From memory, it seems like Jason Frakes' s articles are listing the score as 61-50.
