Hmmm ... which part of this should I believe ... it is so hard to know what is real and what is fake.

 

Not saying its true or not, but who determines if this is truth? In todays news world, there are so many lies its hard to swim through all the lies. CNN is one of the biggest frauds known to man. They are far more slanted than most and that slant has cost them in ratings big time. We need something thats long leaving this world, someone truthful.

Come on JJ. You know better than that. Mainstream media deserves criticism but it is light years ahead of fake news and biased news sites like the one FTN based this thread on. Sites like that one make people dumber, not smarter. Let's not bog down things with the plethora of inflammatory and fake news being spewed onto the internet every day. An ounce of common sense will tell the unbiased reader that this is :poop:.

I hate fake news VOR, its just getting where the mainstream is so slanted its sickening. Im with you on the fake news stuff. There is so much crap out there its hard to wade through from both sides. I am not blaming all the fake stuff on just one side, there is just alot of crap out there, including the mainstream media.

I am actually in disagreement with this. All humans need to go at this point. Let the next species take over. Let everyone have nukes so we can get this over with. I'll be happy to go out in a sudden flash of nuclear fire as opposed to listening to everyone on here and in the world today.

There's a lot to unpack on this statement (which was made in a UN address in 2015, right?) as the history of the relationship of Argentina and Iran is full of twists and turns and centers around the 1994 bombing of an Argentine/Israeli international cooperation center in Buenos Aires.

 

Argentina's relationship with the Revolutionary government in Tehran was a relatively amicable one until the bombing. In fact, when the US and Europe cut all relations with Iran following the revolution, it was Argentina who converted the US-built reactor in question into a low-enrichment facility and supplied Iran with fuel for it from 1987 until 1994.

 

After the bombing, that arrangement ceased. However, there were numerous accusations that people brought into Argentina friendly with the governments in Iran and in Buenos Aires were responsible. The special prosecutor believed Iran coordinated the attack itself and that operatives connected to Hezbollah carried it out.

 

The special prosecutor also happened to believe that President Kirchner and her late husband, who had been president several years earlier, were involved with stonewalling the investigation so as not to uncover the numerous ties between Argentina and the Iranian Revolutionary government.

 

That special prosecutor was found a few years ago dead in his bathroom of an apparent suicide but under VERY suspicious circumstances.

 

So I'm fairly wary of Mrs. Kirchner. Her family has significant connections with Iran which she is phenomenally embarrassed about since the bombing and she's a fairly ardent Peronist whose illiberal policies have tanked the Argentine economy and from which she'd desperately like to distract.

 

In summary, take it all with a fairly substantial grain of salt.
