January 6, 20179 yr I was talking to a guy several years ago at a middle school game. He was talking about all of the hold backs on their team. I mentioned that a couple of them probably wouldn't be able to play as seniors due to their age. He said, " Ah they they are just waiting til after the season to drop out anyway, they are already 16" Assuming you were talking to someone from a school down in your area...that part of the state is infamous for doing this (holdbacks) for athletic purposes. That's the buzz anyway.
January 6, 20179 yr My question is...will KHSAA middle school teams still be allowed to compete against non-KHSAA affiliated teams? At least up till now it's never been a problem and my organization plays several small middle schools that fall under the control of KHSAA. If teams can no longer schedule us, this will singlehandedly cut the number of games I routinely schedule for my middle school basketball teams in half, if not more.

January 7, 20179 yr No it doesn't but the CSAA, at least for football, uses certified officials. I'm still trying to get my head around why this is controversial. Thanks. I don't want anything messing with the Toy Bowl or CSAA football. I don't know why it would be controversial either.
