January 1, 20179 yr One of the last celebrity deaths of 2016. William Christopher died of cancer around 5:00pm Pacific time on December 31st, 2016. In the words of General Sherman T. Potter, "Take her easy, Padre."
January 1, 20179 yr One of the great episodes of MASH is the one in which Fr. Mulcahy is writing a letter to his sister and feeling as though his contributions to the unit are insignificant. He had a remarkable ability to make you feel empathy and compassion in the same way the character did. RIP
January 2, 20179 yr I'm wondering how many members on here have never seen MASH. 1983 was the last year of the show. Obviously reruns have been on. The Sundance station looks to show them when I googled it.

January 6, 20179 yr Me I'm thinking about starting the series from the beginning on Firestick You won't be disappointed. Snarky, goofy, some slapstick, always well written.

January 6, 20179 yr Me I'm thinking about starting the series from the beginning on Firestick Start at season one and end after 7. After that they forgot it was supposed to be comedy. Basically when Klinger quit dressing up, it was done. First 5 seasons are some of the best on tv though. I always liked the role played by Christopher. He could be funny but yet somehow he made you feel like he really was a priest. RIP.
