ApolloFan98 Posted December 30, 2016 Posted December 30, 2016 McFadden picks up player of the game for Warren Central. Potter knocked down 2 big 3's in the last 80 seconds to push Central to the win. Missed FT's nearly cost Central the game, as Butler got a clean look from 3 to win but bounced off. Great ballgame.
DragonFire Posted December 30, 2016 Posted December 30, 2016 In mostly meaningless stats, it's the fifth straight game Warren Central has won when going to extra time, and they've won 11 of 12 in overtime games going back almost a decade. They've won four in a row when it goes more than one OT, dating back to a loss to Trinity in the 2006 LIT.
MBKT Posted December 30, 2016 Posted December 30, 2016 How is Butler looking? Can they challenge Fern Creek in the 6th?
PurplePride92 Posted December 30, 2016 Posted December 30, 2016 Gotta give a lot of love to Skyelar Potter. I was in school the same time his father was and have always known him. I'm happy to see his son having a tremendous season this year. Very cool to see folks you know having kids shining like Skyelar is. Keep it up, Skyelar!!!!
HoopJunkie Posted December 30, 2016 Posted December 30, 2016 How is Butler looking? Can they challenge Fern Creek in the 6th? They play Tuesday. Butler is tough. Have a couple of upperclassmen that know how to win. They play very unselfish basketball.

He's attacking some records this season, and he still has a year to go after it. His 10 threes the other night broke a seven year old record for most threes in a game, and he broke Poynter's school record for points in a game (21 year old record, was 43) with 45 in that same game. It seems unlikely that he'll be able to reach Eversoll's record of 27 PPG and 919 in a season, but it's been a long, long time since anyone has averaged over 20 per game like Skyelar is right now.
