How would you rank Region 4, 3A? Is Rock still the best or do you go with Johnson Central.......maybe everyone's forgetting about Bell Co. Lets hear it.

Johnson Central, Ashland, Boyd County and Mason County are going to be the playoff teams from region 8.

Rockcastle County, Bell County, Letcher County Central and Clay County are going to be the playoff teams from distric 7.

Now as far as ranking the teams... The top 4 are Johnson Central, Rockcastle County, Bell County and Ashland, in no particular order.

I think Bell Co. has showed the most so far. I would put them #1. The rest of my top 5 are in a 2 way tie for #2. JC and Rock. #4 Ashland and #5 Mason.

I like it and hope we are the best, but I think Bell's gonna be there at the end with us or Rock.

The playoff spots in district 7 are going to be tough to come by. Bell, Rock, LCC, Madison Southern, Clay, Knox... all these teams have a great shot at making in. Bell and Rock are probably the 2 favorites, but anything can happen.

You can never county Bell and Rock to be a regional contender. This region is going to make alot of noise this year come November.

Predictions mean nothing. Wait till it is over. That is what counts.

1. Johnson Central - should be undefeated going into the Ashland game

2. Rockcastle County - maybe some were surprised by a close loss to a nice Lincoln County team

3. Ashland - rebounded nicely from opening loss to undefeated Raceland

4. Bell County - lackluster showing in opener vs. a struggling Whitley County squad, playing well since then

5. Mason County - won 3 straight after loss in opener to 4A Lafayette, but JC and Ashland may have the Royals playing on the road in the playoffs for a second straight year

6. Clay County - schedule way too weak for top-5 consideration at this time

7. Knox County - should post a nice record until the last 2 games of the schedule

8. Boyd County - may sneak in for the final playoff spot. Greenup has to play Lawrence and Boyd on the road late in the season
