Blue Blazer,

Maybe you got the score of this game mixed up with the Russell/Morgan Co. game. This will be a very close game, with to good football teams. The team that executes the best will win. Both teams have used special teams and defense to this point. The team that can generate offense will win this game. I feel that it is a toss up, should be a great game.

I have to agree LFB, L.C.A. is not going to come into Ram Stadium and lay down. Hopefully we can get our Offense rolling again and the Defense and special teams continue the excellent play that they have shown all season. They have been a constant in the Rams sucesess this season.

Raceland 34-21.

I sure hope you are correct Blue Blazer!!! Starting the district race off with a win over LCA would be a big confidence boost!!!

That was going to be one of my questions, what if any injuries do the Rams have going in to this one. I didn't hear of anything serious at all.

Rogers and Thompson went to therapy today but i would guess everything is going to be fine and they will be back at practice today and on their game.

It does seem like our running game has been effective the last two games. But as soon as you put all your eggs in one basket one may have to go through the air. I would think coaches are equally working on our passing game and running game. I again predict a close game and a true battle on home field. LCA will not go down without a fight. Orange Crush will pull this one out on a close victory.

First I will say Raceland is good this year. But at the same time I watched the Ashland game and they beat themselves. Ashland didn't get the ball to Thomas enough and they fumbled on the Raceland 5, fumbled on their own 15, had a TD called back, and Raceland's #3 returned a punt for TD. East Carter is terrible, and Rowan isn't very good either. I will say this will be a close game that can go either way depending on LCA's defense and if their offense turns the ball over alot.

I am not sure who you are rooting for. We try and not bash any team. We all have good games and bad ones. It sounds like you need a little pick me up. Would you like a parade or a bottle of Orange Crush?

Raceland got the bad game out of their system and still got the win they will be sharp and ready to roll on Friday night. These players may have been looking ahead last week to this game the Rams Will Rock & Roll on Friday!!!:ylsuper::flame:

I just found out that I will have to be out of town this Friday (work related), and will have to miss out on your hospitality this Friday. I would have enjoyed the "caffeine high" that you offered!

I hope to meet you guys (& gals?) sometime.

I also hope the game is as great as we "old farts" think it will be (with an LCA win, of course :D )

Good luck and good health to both teams.

Bluto, Sorry that you will not be in attendance at Ram stadium. I was looking forward to sharing that hot coffee. I am sure we will cross paths again before the season is over so the offer still stands.

Have a safe trip.

If Raceland can beat Ashland they are sure good enough to beat LCA even though I think this game will decide the district championship.

I like your pick as to who will win,. However, this game can not be judged by the results of the Ashland game. Friday begins a new season and LCA is a very talented, physical football team that has owned the Rams since beginning their program. It will be a great game but there are other games coming up in the district that have a say as to who wins it all. Bath Co. is a much improved football team as well as Paris. Add Fairview to the list and you have a tough road to the district title. I like the Rams chances as they do have a good football team and the coaches have them focused on the task at hand.

Bluto I am not sure if I can be there or not either. My health dictates if I can go or not. I am planning on being there as of now but I never know from day to day. I am sorry that you can't be there, I also was looking foward to meeting you and your LCA buddies. May God bless you with a safe trip. I am sure that we will meet somewhere down the road, possibly in the playoffs. Take care. Cville and I will eat an extra sausage and kraut dog for you:lol: in celebrating a Rams win........hopefully:p. I hope both teams can stay injury free and go on to good seasons after this game.
