December 12, 20169 yr Bell is playing with a top 3 QB, top 3 WR, and top five o-line. Elliott only has a top 3 o-line. Dak has been very good and Dez might be the 5th best WR. My point is Bell has lots of help, also. He ain't doing it alone. He is not AP doing it alone good. Right now he is playing great.

December 12, 20169 yr Author The Steelers have a top 5 o-line. Not that big of a difference. Bell had 38 carries for 236 yards 3 tds his longest run was 33 yards. Elliot usually has a big run for most of his yards. Bell just pounded the Bills.

Bell is able to make more out of nothing more than what Elliot has shown. So many times the Cowboys line allows him to get to the second level right away as he is already going full speed. Bell is so good at making something out of nothing and waiting back being patient for even the slightest Crack to open up. I think we can name 5 or even 10 other backs who if you put him behind the Cowboys line, that they would also look as great and put up great numbers. Just look at Murray 2 years ago. He has shown he is a very good rb, but 2 years ago he looked like the top back in football behind that line while running for 2000 yards. Elliott like Murray is a very good back and when you put a good back behind the best line in football, you get great results.

December 12, 20169 yr I get everyone's point, however, Bell is in a much better offense than Elliott. Bell today had two touchdowns that any back in the league would have scored. The blocking was that good. Bell is most dangerous as a receiver by far.
December 12, 20169 yr This is how I rank the best and I like all 3 of them. 1. Bell 2. Elliot 3. Murray McCoy is better than Murray. We have discussed the top 2. A healthy AP is better than all of them. Shame he isn't healthy, so he can't be on the list.

Elliott has way many more open holes to run through than any back. Bell has shown much more on be able to make more with nothing. As stated I think Elliott is a top 10 back. However if he is on any other team I doubt we even say he is a top 5 back yet. With that said I do believe he will get there because he will only keep getting better.
