1. Did Exxon Lie About Global Warming? - Rolling Stone

- climate change is real but we can't let it hurt the balance sheet.

2. By relationships...another Russia tie in.

3. Another multimillionaire.

I agree that we can't let global warming alarmist affect jobs in the country . For to long we have let the far left control the conversation and hurt the very people they claim to support the poor and middle class. I can believe man has a hand in climate change but not feel the policies of the far left are beneficial. I can believe the EPA has been corrupt and not had the interest of the American worker in mind.

Since when is being a millionare a bad thing ?

The bolded tells me we won't agree on this topic: polar opposites if you will--no ice of course.

The American worker could have been the leaders of innovation in addressing the ramifications of man-made climate change, but with men like Tillerson leading the nation that won't happen. His job is to unload the trillion of barrels of oil they have on balance so his company will not fold.

Heaven help our species in the next century.

Business men have always been behind the curtain pulling strings and controlling politicians. Now instead of paying and bribing for access they are stepping out into the arena theirselves. Guess it got too expensive payrolling losing political candidate's campaigns.

Drill baby drill.

Maybe we will also finally make strides with nuclear energy.

Yes and YES!!!

The US is ranked around 15th when it comes to the amount of power we derive from Nuclear Energy, behind some world leaders like Slovakia, Slovenia, Armenia, Ukraine and Czech Republic among others.

What makes you think we will expand nuclear energy with guys like Tillerson and Pruitt the EPA nominee?

I'm not completely against nuclear energy as an avenue of getting off of carbon energy, but I have little faith.

Pruitt is an outright climate denier, and Tillerson is just making sure Exxon can't get sued---learned from Big tobacco's denial.

I was just agreeing with LB that we need to expand Nuclear Power, I have no idea if this guy or anyone else being considered is a proponent of Nuclear Power.

Trump's SoS pick will be the successor to Hillary Clinton and John Kerry. How can his nominee not be an improvement? Tillerson would have been an excellent pick to head the EPA, as we head into a possible Little Ice Age. The climate change deniers are those who ignore dismiss global temperature trends and historically low sunspot activity.

Referencing Rolling Stone? Really?
