I think I stated It was hearsay. And It would really be nice if you would stop attacking me on a message board. You seem to have a beef with me or somthing. I have never attacked you in anyway. If you were really apart of this team you would just correct me and be done with it. It's not my fault Mercer played bad tonight.

I think they will if they humble themselves, and not continue with the attitude that 'we're better then everyone.'

When a player of a team starts bashing the fans for somthing off a message board that wasn't even negative in regards. Well that's when you cross the line. Without the fans like me who may get the wrong 40 times like the next guy might then who would come to the games? Who would do this or that for the school? It would be a whole lot less crowded on friday nights. I am going to drop this cause I'm tired of going back and forth with this. You keep trying harder and you might get on the field. Til then work on being a role model for the underclassmen.

They might be contained for a few plays and just when you think Mercer is in trouble one of those backs goes the distance. 40 times don't really matter, it is quite obvious Mercer's backs are faster than the rest of the players on the field. 4.3 or 4.5 it is all relative.

 

What will be interesting though is how Boyle co. plays the Titans. When Chuck Smith was still here the Rebels found a way to beat many teams with superior speed. Hopkinsville generally was much faster player vs. player but the Rebels still came out on top. I expect the Rebels will step up this week and have something to say about it!

Mercer will have to open up the playbook on this one. They have played it very conservative to date. I also think they have done that just for this game. Look for some fireworks this weekend.

My big hope is that the stingy Mercer D continues to shut down their opponent. Boyle is a big measuring stick.
