Can't trust anybody these days

They can be hit or miss, but the two I've eaten at over the years have always been better than KFC.

KFC is pretty over rated when it comes to chicken IMO. Hell, Kroger has chicken that competes with KFC.

I'm with you on way more things than not, but ick.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not a KFC fan by any stretch. And absolutely agree about Kroger. Their fried chicken is better than any of the chains save Cane's IMO.

This could be hit or miss as well. But I've never had fried chicken from Kroger that wasn't delicious.

To be fair, the Louisville Kroger stores that I've frequented offer a lot more than our local establishment.

Y'all are whack! Chicken King is the best friend chicken. KFC? **pfft**

And as far as grocery store chicken, Value Market beats Kroger.

The very, very best friend chicken anywhere is at Becky's Knotty Pine in McDaniels, KY, near the Axtel boat ramp.

Know a girl that won't eat KFC because they are mean to their chickens before they kill them...

There are several reasons not to eat at KFC, but I can't see that being one of them.

I don't really understand the people who will only buy cage free eggs.

I don't buy them, as a rule, but the eggs you buy commercially are tasteless compared to the eggs that free range chickens produce. I can get them at farmers markets around here, but I grew up eating fresh, free range eggs from my grandparents farm.

We used to get our eggs from my SIL down the road who raised chickens. Absolutely no comparison to store bought eggs. Of course, all of her chickens caught some disease and couldn't be eaten (egg or chicken) so we are now without fresh eggs. :madman:
