How did you see the Trajon catch? Do you have video from Mayfield's side of the field? I sat right in front of that play and it was tough to call.

X-ray and supervision. Watch the video if you guys can. I was on fence in back of south endzone. He has no control and out of bounds. Awesome catch though.

I'm shocked I'm not hearing "covey leader to Raven, come in Johnny"

Again, Good Luck Mayfield and fans.

Is Desales coming to our Region?

My bad, got ahead of myself, I stand corrected.

Ifs and buts, OC simply had too many injuries and starters out, especially skill players. Mayfield was a solid team with tough running back, but at full strength OC goes toe to toe last night. Congrats on the win, but mayfield is definitely beatable.

Full strength both teams and dry field

Mayfield trucks OC

Trajon was out. I love MF but on the highlights he was out on that catch. Anyways, last year we were beatable and the year before that. What all these these fans from other schools have in common is they all say the same thing after losses. They all go from class act to delusional. If your an OC fan/alumni you should only be mad at the refs for not giving MF anymore asinine penalties to set OC up for an epic comeback.

And you base that on what, that they ONLY beat OC by 22?

I can't get over these OC fans saying they were one bad incomplete pass call and an injury or two away from being MF's equal. MF played without their starting nose tackle. As I'm sure you're aware, nose tackle in a 3-4 is a very valuable commodity. MF rolls out 4 WRs that are a complete and total mismatch of running clock proportions versus OCs secondary. These WRs were taken out of the game, not by anything OC accomplished, but by the weather. The conditions forced MF to play to OCs strength, which is a very tough and stubborn front 7, and they were still 22 points better. With the playbook fully open, a game between these two gets real ugly, real fast. I have a great deal of respect for OCs players, coaches, fans, and program. You have a great team and are going to be scary good in the very near future. However, you are simply not being realistic about last night's contest and your credibility ship is listing. If you need me, I'll be over in the MF vs CAL thread... my team is still playing.

I agree, with this angle it clearly wasn't a catch by trajon, he was out of bounds before he had control.

Laughable but predictable, to be the man you know what you have to do. Honestly, simply a better opponent! 12 titles here, none there and with us being in your class I doubt much changes. Its always some excuse, Beechwood most recently, now you have jumped into their spot. Like the others before you, you will eventually get it and pray for that one year, once in a blue moon when those stars align. This is the new normal and you will learn this too. Those titles are no accident

And you base that on what, that they ONLY beat OC by 22?

Moral victory, looking for something positive

No such thing as moral victories

Congrats to Mayfield on another Region Title. :thumb:

I think we're gonna make OC our new Murray. Woodshed time, year after year.
