November 17, 20169 yr That's right. It actually makes sense, provided that the rent is not above market. Biden says that he does it for their convenience, but he is a pauper compared to most career DC insiders. Like I said, I'm not sure that Biden still collects rent, but the precedent has been set.

FWIW, I don't see it as a big deal as long as he's charging what ever the going price for that location would be on the open market...which it seems he is.

I can see everything with the "Trump" name on it being a potential Terrorist Target also. That could be the real reason his name is coming off of those apartment buildings. Trump Tower will be surrounded 24/7 for many many years to come by NYPD and Secret Service.
