Hit it Hard...John Daly 30 for 30

Featured Replies

Interesting so far...I always liked John, this is showing what happens when someone goes from 0 to 100 in four days. As he says, he just wasn't prepared for it.

I thought it was a pretty good documentary, didn't know he went so hard.

Grip it and rip, wasn't just his style on the golf course...he lived it away from the course also.

Got it on DVR to watch tonight.

I have it on my DVR as well, but it might not get watched til the weekend.

When did it become taboo to smoke during a tournament?

I think it's more taboo for the networks to show it. I've been to a couple tournaments and practice rounds and saw players and caddies smoking

I'm sure sponsors are glad that's the case.

I would like to see this...hope I can find a replay. I like John too. I read his autobiography a few years ago, and he seems to look at himself in a pretty honest way....not that it changes anything. What I didn't sense out of his book is him feeling compelled to exercise self-discipline in about any part of his life.

I did meet his girlfriend at the PGA practice round at Valhalla a few years ago and that was worthwhile.

Finally got around to seeing this. I really enjoyed it.
