I will be SHOCKED if Corbin doesn't just come out and beat LCA to death. It should be a score of:

41-17

Corbin is too physical for a 1A school to go a whole game with them, especially when they lost a ton from last year.

I don't know about the whole 1A thing, 3 wishes. The same school beat the Hounds last year. Danville is 1A, NewCath is 1A, and Beechwood is 1A and they could hang with/Destroy a lot of 2A teams. McCreary is 3A, so they should dominate around here, according to your statement. Or did you just mean this 1A team? Lexington Christian beat them last year and really dose'nt look that bad this year. I'm going to go with the Hounds at home, in a close one, but I'm not basing it on 1A vs. 2A.

I agree with what you said, I'm not really basing it on 1A vs. 2A as much as I am saying that LCA lost a great deal of talent and I figured it is a lot harder for a newer 1A program to reload, rather than re-build. The 1A vs .2A comment just wasn't clearly explained. Danville could beat many 4a schools and there are several other examples.

O.K. That's kind of what I thought, but I just wanted to clarify. Lexington Christian does seem to replinish well, though.

that is because of the FEEDER SYSTEM that has been developed starting with FLAG FOOTBALL at 1st-4th and then 8-man Full-contact at 5th-6th and finally with a solid Jr High program with a 7th and an 8th grade team...

Grass roots system that keeps those younger kids off of the Soccer fields and on the FOOTBALL fields! :)

Corbin middle and LCA play 7th and 8th football sat. at the rock bowl. And corbin has a good 7th and 8th team this year so it should be fun.

Welcome Back, EagleEye!!!!

Thanks!

LCA - 21

Corbin - 20

I think this will be a very good defensive battle - both teams seem to have speed and fundamentals on the defensive side of the ball and both Offfenses are fairly in-experienced and struggling a little...should be a tight game...

I think that Corbin gets the win at home 28-22
