Hold on folks.......Holy Cross is not beating Highlands.

I said 50/50 shot at this point in the year and I stand by that.

HC is not beating Dixie either.

Boone and Campbell Cty might be good games, but I still think they beat HC. Like has been stated, the big schools would/could just rotate players and wear HC out.

You go with your theory and I'll go with mine. Guess neither of us will ever know if that would happen this year.

You're right, we'll never know. Post a poll and see who the public thinks would win. I'm comfortable in my thinking that the Highlands number would end up being larger than the HC one. As "down" as Highlands is or perceived to be, they would still wear out HC.

That guy's name is definitely Homer.

Actually I have zero ties to HC. I've seen every team on the list this year and feel as though I have a solid opinion of every one of them. No Homer here.

Simon Kenton catches hell for scheduling CAL the last two years. Folks question why Beechwood continues to schedule CCH each year when the CCH program has clearly pulled away from Beechwood for all intents and purposes - but Holy Cross is capable of beating Campbell County, Dixie and Highlands.

Agreed and that's why I also would not flip Dixie and Beechwood. In a year they are supposed to be down. Beechwood has surprised everyone and should actually be higher I believe. I don't think they are getting enough credit.

I agree 100%.

HC has talent, one phenomenal player with Barnes. They could beat Campbell right now, but not Highlands or Dixie. Might give them a game, but they wouldn't beat them. I like them to make a nice run in the 2A playoffs, but let's not get crazy and think they would beat many of the big schools contending for a big playoff run this year

One phenomenal player? Jaylin Williams might be the best player on the team. 6'2 210lbs and hits like a Mack truck.

Man I get there are some Holy Cross fans but if you didn't do your homework Beechwood was leading the CovCath game at halftime. Instead of trying to give Holy Cross so much love you should be elevating Beechwood who every one thought they would have a down year. Instead, they should be higher on this Top 10. I don't care about athletes, I care about wins! Beechwood is poised and vry tough minded. Young and Hungry. Plus the Tigers already scrimmaged Dixie to a virtual draw and they are 5A. Beechwood beats all those teams: Campbell, Dixie, and HC.
