Final

RRR

This one went pretty much as expected. Raceland ran their most basic stuff on offense and dominated the Eagles with defense.

The team in Westwood played hard, especially on defense. Raceland scored two or three td's on a short field from the Rams D stuffing the Eagles offense all night with the exception of one 62 yd. td pass.

Raceland's Defense held the opponent to ....only 4 total yds rushing for the game!

Raceland's soph. RB Adkins rushed for 113 yds.

We played poorly. It was like we were at practice. We played very vanilla and basic things. Overall, very proud of our effort. Got to play better next week.

^i know, I spoke out of both sides of my mouth. It was just a weird atmosphere.

Rams playing #1 Paintsville next week for the district title.

Ram players, you're 8-0 with 7 to go. Enjoy the W over the rival tonight. Wake up Sat. morning with Paintsville on your mind.

We never really seemed to be into it tonight. I am going to chalk it up to looking ahead to next week. Worst the O line has played all year hands down. We play like that next week and Paintsville goes home happy.

Raceland is a typical eastern Kentucky team they play hard but have zero speed. Unsure if they have one college football on their team and football overall in our area is bad all the way around. Population decline And lack of jobs has hampered development of the athletics over the years. IMO coaching is below par in our area but what good coaches would want these gigs? Painstville has way more speed than Raceland but Raceland plays hard should be a good one.

Guess that performance vs. OPEN last week motivated the Rams this week. :lol2:

Seriously though, nice job.

Congrats Raceland

It's obvious Raceland was going through the motions and saving there emotion and intensity for next week.. You will see a much more focused team next Friday.

I can't complain about a 33 point win with our starting running back resting. Rams will be ready to play next week no doubt!

Congrats to Raceland on the win. Next Friday's showdown should be a good one.

I got that same idea from listening on the inet broadcast. What it appeared to be was mostly mental mistakes, lack of focus at times. Of course. you guys at the game would know more about that :thumb:.

Absolutely agree that this team cannot have gaps like in this one vs.. Paintsville.
