I gotta agree. It's kind of like that Elliott kid moving into Pendleton County to play with his AAU buddies, and then being proud of a regional championship.:D

How can you possibly compare these two situations? It is not even close.

Just wondering, as I really don't know, but what does Mom do for a living? Seems with his trips to LA and such, she must have a pretty good job as flights to LA don't come cheap, as accepting money or free trips from someone is against the rules, or is it?

Maybe his "Grandfather"has a part time job for a shoe manufacturer. :sssh: Just a thought, but it wouldn't surprise me in the least.

He was all state as a middle schooler playing varsity ball. However, in WV and KY, you can play varsity basketball from middle school on if you choose. You have 8 semesters once you begin high school, but he played before he was in high school. If it were football or soccer, he would not be eligible. But in every other sport, he would as those are the only 2 considered as 'contact' sports.

Not completely accurate but close. You cannot play varsity sports in West Virginia while in middle school. In Kentucky an individual may play varsity sports before academically entering High School. There are three exceptions:Football,Soccer and Wrestling. In Kentucky there have been several 5th/6th grade female regional and state champions in such sports as Cross country and Golf.

Hopefully, all will end well for OJ and Bill Walker.
