Stat of note: 5 QBs have made their 1st career NFL start on a Bill Belichick coached team...They are 5-0. Will Brissett make it 6? My thoughts: Low scoring game with both teams struggling to move the ball at times. Brissett will make his share of mistakes, but the ground game and defense will carry the Patriots to a win at home 17-14.

On a related note, I wonder how fantasy football leagues would handle it if Edelman ended up taking the majority of snaps at QB? Teams with him in the lineup would have a huge advantage as they'd basically have 2 QBs compared to 1 for everyone else. I would love to see it. I think he'd be able to handle himself quite well.

I'm torn if I want to start him in a WR role this week. I really don't with Brissett as his QB, when I can start Travis Benjamin. However, if Edelman winds up taking snaps at QB, it would be nice to have him in my WR slot.

I think Brissett makes him even more valuable. He's not going to be calling any complex plays, and probably very few down field. Edelman will be his safety net IMO.

I remember years ago Joe Webb was listed as a WR in fantasy and ended up having to play QB. In the league I was in his QB points counted like normal and I assume that was Yahoo's default setting. Err, thinking back I think it was that he was a QB and somehow got the WR designation too, so you could start him in a WR spot even though he was their QB at the time due to some injuries.
September 22, 201610 yr As for the game, I don't know. I feel like it will be a close one. Any other team having to run out their third-string QB against the Texans and you'd have to chalk it up a loss. I have a feeling the Pats won't make it so easy.
