Nothing wrong with that at all, that's what I would rather see to be honest. But obviously there isn't much communication coming from either side. It has been turned into a race issue due to social media and the national media and people involved jumping to their own assumptions/conclusions. Until people start acting like they are adults, I wouldn't hold my breath on any true dialog happening.

Just saying that if he doesn't like where he is living, he, or anyone else is free to move. If I didn't like where I lived, I would move. But I enjoy the neighborhood I live in and love this country, even though things seem to be headed in the wrong direction.

Sure they should, as long as they can do it responsibly. But obviously they can't. My point is that when the media, social media, and even celebrities get involved, talking about the race issues it seems to create more of a divide, rather than help close the gap. When the media and social media report on things and lead with story lines that seem to be facts but are pure speculation, it just gets people fired up. Add in celebrities and sports figures and guess what, it adds more fuel to the fire. Then you end up with a scenario like Charlotte last night.

 

A black man gets shot and killed by a black cop, so lets burn the city down and attack white people.. How is that helping anything?

I would like to think he is trying to unite and honestly from what I know about Steve Kerr that makes complete sense, but given how people of influence have handled things lately, I would be lying if I said that I thought none of them have an agenda. Whether it be for the good, the bad, or just trying to get some personal publicity, I dunno.

Given how some other figures of influence have acted, along with the protesters. Yeah, I'm pretty much at the love it or leave it point. Sorry if that upsets you and that's not my persona in general, but given how things are going it's hard to not look at everything that happens at this point in time objectively.
