No doubt the gate would be better and the local interest in the game would be higher. I hope this move takes place. It would be better to lose to Mboro or Corbin than to be defeated by the Raiders.

I read in McCreary's newspaper, The McCreary County Record, and it said that the game had been moved to Saturday afternoon. Has anyone heard any news of this since it won't be Friday night?

As it stands today the game is still scheduled for 4:30 on friday.

They're having light troubles. Personally, I think this is an awful time, as many of you do as well. The heat will be extremely bad, and the time of day couldn't be worse for parents and fans.

If the heat is over the limit they will have no choice but to post-pone it. Couldn't they play and a neutral site. Don't know where but.....

From what I heard on here earlier, it has something to do with a contract and they can't change the date or place. Hopefully it won't be that bad, but the time of the day helps the Raiders because it doesn't give the Jackets much time. This will be a good game and I can't wait for it.

I haven't followed Mc Creary Central, but I can remember my freshmen season beating them around 56-0 or 64-0. However, I was able to watch Williamsburgh against Bell Co. (which is really no match up at all, no offense to WHS), but if Mc Creary Central hasn't improved, it could get ugly. I will say WHS: 42 MCC: 0 or 7

McCreary is no where near what it use to be. It's still not a "great" team but they are turning it around. They have amazing defense and a pretty good offense. If they can cut down on the turnovers, they could beat a lot of teams they play.

You should be able to break that contract for the saftey of the players and move it to cumberland college's field. They are playing this weekend at Cambell Field in Corbin. Its open it oughtta be used.

Heat index is the issue on health. KHSSA will not let practice or games occur if index is 104 or over is my understanding. That being said, forecast for today has highs in low 70's so no issue.
