I thought you couldnt bet on BGP and the game is at 4:30 not noon and no one was forced to do anything. It was a mutual agreement.

I would look for the Jackets to not renew the contract with McCreary for the next two years. I think the Jackets have been defeated by the Raiders at the middle school level recently and with the departure of a nice senior class would not fare too well in the upcoming matchups with the Raiders. Of course they could be looking to add a tougher non district opponent like Middlesboro, Corbin, Paris or someone like that as well.

Only time will tell what Coach Herron will do. Actually MC wanted to play at Wburg Friday night but in return play 2 years in a row at MC and Wburg said no. No sure why it upsets you so much if you think Wburg plays a CUPCAKE but for some reason it does. I'll see if I can get Coach Herron to contact you before scheduling next year so you wont have to worry so much.

I'm not getting sarcastic with you about the schedule, so what's with the attitude? I'm not blasting YOU or them for playing a cupcake, but it seems like every year they have McCreary AND Jellico (and sometimes a third, like Thomas Walker) on the schedule. Dose'nt look like that would help the team in the long run, other than some quick wins. I'll bet the new Coach does look for some better competition ,unlike the past, and keeps one of the 2 on the schedule for the near future for confidence building games, just like everyone else does. I think in the near future, like the next couple of years, McCreary will not be a team that people just use for quick wins. I honestly think that Coach Gay will turn this team around, and with outstanding players from the unbeaten middle school team, they can only go up. I wouldn't be suprised if McCreary pulls off a few upsets this year, and possibly one against the 'Burg. McCreary is starting to head the right way, and they'll join an extremely tough district next year. This team would be extremely good if they could cut down on fumbles. They will have about one interception a game, but they fumble the ball quite a bit. I can't say they will have a winning season next year, when they join a tough district with tough teams to play, but they will not be just another team that can pad the opposite teams win record.

Jellico could always be used as the confidence builder, and McCreary should play them, just to help their confidence. McCreary plays Berea and Allen Central, whom usually they beat. I think if you are a bigger program, with any kind of winning record, then Jellico doesn't help with the .. "experience." If Williamsburg was contending for district championships often, then Jellico should be the last person on their list.

How is Lynn Camp doing? I heard that McCreary beat them by a few touchdowns in a scrimmage.

I've always wanted to see a possible Somerset vs. McCreary Central game because of proximity and possible fan interest in McCreary Co.. I don't see this happening anytime soon but would still like to see it.

We're 0-2. Lost to both LESLIE CO> And MIDDLESBORO. Never had a MCC head to head scrimmage, but McCreary could put it on a few people from when I have seen them.

MC has always had pretty good middle teams but they never pan out. But I do agree with you wburg probably would be able to handle them the next few years so the need to drop them and pick up Corbin or Middlesboro.
