I haven't seen him play basketball in person yet but by all accounts he is one of the best freshman players/prospects in the state for basketball. I think he could be labeled one of the top 3-5 freshmen in the state and no one would argue. Truly a gifted and blessed athlete.

Vito played on the AAU National Championship team last year. Call reps has him rated #1 in state in 2020 class and in their national ranking listed top 50

 

As I mentioned earlier, I am assumingoing he is not playing until his all American 9th grade football game is over (1st week of January). Really not sure. I do know that my prediction should come true that I made a couple of years ago. He will be highest recruit BGHS has ever had. Robert Reynolds so far holds that record but Vito will pretty much be able to pick where he wants to go. This region ever so often will get a big lineman (Elam, Lacey) that will get great offers but not too often do we have a skill player from this area get multiple big school offers. If he continues to do well in the all American games and continues to get offers early I believe he will become a 5 star before he graduates. Will be fun to keep up with

All Kentucky players need to stay away from Austin Peay as they will pull an offer if they find a player that is better. They did this to a Christian Co player last year so beware. Who would want to go there anyway as they have not won a game in over 2 years.

Austin Peay has a new staff. They had one of the most improved offenses in the nation.

I doubt this kid is considering APSU.

I believe Vito is currently playing with the JV basketball team until after he plays in the US Army game on the 7th.

Yeah, its a new staff trying to build a program and doing some good things. People with your attitude SHOULD stay away.

I have and will never go to any football game at that school. Glad you are 4 them but they are not very well thought of in western Kentucky after pulling the kids offer at the last minute. What a terrible thing to do to a young kid

#1 The old staff offered him. Then got let go.

#2 The new staff has stated that they will never spend a scholarship on a kicker.

#3 7 years ago WKU had the longest losing streak in the nation. People with a growth mindset took over and chose to build up out of that mess to back to back to back bowl wins. (the opposite of your front runner stay away unless thats all you can get)
