Anderson released on shock probation | News | somerset-kentucky.com

Released after 180 days on Shock Probation.

Nice work here, Kentucky. We sentence someone to 5 to 10 years in jail for a Class C felony for dealing pot...and if someone abuses and sodomizes a 12 year old, they get out of jail 6 months into a 10 year sentence.

Absolutely ludicrous.

While I agree with what you are saying, it should be noted that the Class C Pot Dealer is eligible for Shock Probation too if they have no other convictions.

I'm shocked that he got this short of time for 3 convictions. Another guy here in town had a similar but different case and got 15 years Federal Prison time for it...180 days

I will say that he has a GREAT Family and I hate all of this for them, but not for him in any way.

It's this kind of inequity in sentencing that I find bothersome.

Sexual predators don't suddenly stop. I'm sure there are victims at every coaching stop he made.

Likely every Science Teaching position as well.
