I'm shaking my head trying to figure out how those are compliments.

Hey 57 according to a sports writer Mayfield out gained MC 411 to 405. The Pad Sun only had individual stats. Nothing on team stats.

If I have to explain, you wouldn't understand. I'll just agree to disagree.

I have the utmost respect for Mayfield football. They have been & always will be the best team year in & year out. They consistently produce championships & are the mold of what other teams try to immolate. Both teams played their hearts out last night. Mayfield built a cushion & held on when McCracken got the momentum. As far as a blow out??? Are you kidding me? The first qtr looked as if it was going to be. Coming out of a 25 point hole & only losing by 5 & against a team the caliper a of Mayfield speaks a lot. For both teams. McCracken had some costly turnovers but Mayfield did as well. Arnett was the better QB no doubt but he threw some int's in the game when Mayfield could have run the ball & kept MC from getting the ball back. It was a heck of a game. Disappointed of the outcome, but Mayfield showed they were the better team & wanted it more.

Not having a dog in the fight, I'd gladly take that 5 of 5 bet. As an unbiased fan, Mayfield looked very good. McCracken turned the ball over a few times, and drove easily into the red zone a couple of times early and for whatever reason went away from what was working. The officiating was terrible. The majority of Mayfields penalties came in the 4th quarter otherwise the yardage would look even more lopsided. The officials appeared out of shape and lazy. McCracken runs no huddle and they never could get in a rhythm, especially in the first quarter (which took 50 minutes to complete) because the officials kept stopping play for discussions, and penalties. McCracken outgained Mayfield in yardage and if you take the first quarter out of it, in points as well. You can't let Mayfield get ahead by 25 points and think you can come back. The biggest deciding factor was the field position in the first quarter.

 

We can what if injuries all we want, but both teams had them. It was a good game, so enjoy it. You can't be the underdog and the best team ever. Pick one lol

 

Don't call yourself unbiased. You make it apparent in every post you can't stand to see mayfield win. I would expect nothing less from a Crittendon guy.
