HS bans American flag at football games

If they were going to use the flag to taunt other students , that is wrong . The flag is a sacred symbol of our country and should be displayed only showing the utmost respect for it .

I agree kytmccc. I hope that wasnt why they were doing this . I wonder how they determined the intent of the students ?

Growing more and more tired of stupid people as I get older.

I agree with this 100%.

You and me both.

A couple years ago I was

thinking of myself as becoming a crotchety old man but then I realized I wasn't being mean for no reason, people were just getting dumber.

Haha that did make me chuckle and it's true. Our country is going no where fast.

If this is the first game the students showed up with the flag then the principal was 100% correct.

The flag is not an object used for taunting.

Great chance to teach the students about showing respect for the flag and other US citizens.

Or were they going to use it as a protest for illegal immigration? Apparently the flag doesn't mean much anymore other than it is symbol of freedom to burn it, spit on it, stand on it or not respect it.

For the record, I think the principal was correct also.

You're not really suggesting those kids bringing in a US flag to the student section were thinking so deeply as to protest illegal immigration, are you? It couldn't have possibly been for more pro-wrestling type reasons, would it?

C'mon, man. Anybody with a brain knows those kids were doing it to be racist jerks. Wouldn't be the first time I've seen it from student sections.
