Eagle, I don't think this is a bad loss for you, although I would be concerned with the score, but I expect Hopkinsville to go a long way this year.

I still believe the Eagles will be ok..just definitely have work to do & improvements are necessary...just remembet, we started the 2014 campaign, goes 0-4.. then won 10 straight..and became state runner-up. .dont under estimate this team..

I think both teams are good solid clubs. I saw Hoptown first hand last week vs OHS in the scrimmage and they are loaded with speed. Graves has a very talented QB and I fully expect them to be in the mix for district 1.

With respect though you also had the Crider kid that year who was a Top 10 player in the State on each side of the ball

Mathis is a solid Qb, but u can't throw two interceptions against hoptown, lose a fumble, and allow a td on punts...any good team will defeat u based on those mistakes..graves will figure it out..

Hoptown will gear its season on beating CCHS. should be a great game, better get there early to get a good seat on the home side as there will be many empty seats on the visitors side and it is hard to explain why the Cols get no fan support?
