T-CATS Posted August 20, 2016 Posted August 20, 2016 Was at this game. Boyd looked good on both sides of the ball. #1 #21 #5 all quick good looking players. Lawerence County looked ok on D but the wing T offense was pretty stagnet and predictable. Good W for the L.I.O.N.S
JDEaston Posted August 20, 2016 Posted August 20, 2016 Huge win and confidence booster for Boyd. To be honest, this one surprised me a little. I expected this one to be close either way, but I really thought Lawrence would come out ahead. Congrats to the Lions!

My guess is the original poster, like a lot of people mistakenly do, saw Lawrence get in their double wing sets and assumed that they are a Wing T team....which they aren't....like Belfry isn't. Without giving a dissertation, Lawrence is modeled more after Belfry (as well as getting in different looks out of the 'I' and doing the same schemes).
