August 11, 201610 yr Unless it's trying to kill another animal, yes. That's what coyotes do. So, with that logic all of them should go. I'm not being obtuse (intentionally). Only stating that the conservation (and balance) efforts are funded by the overwhelming majority of "sportsmen".
August 11, 201610 yr 1000% agree. I'm for hunting for any reason legal as long as the meat does not go to waste. If you want to shoot a deer for sport or fun but hate the taste of the meat, have at it as long as you donate the meat to charity.

We fed a family at our church all year with the deer we harvested and gave to them. We had 6 nuisance permits, they got them all. Had a chest freezer donated to them by another fellow. That family couldn't have been more appreciative. The wife made venison chili once for an after church dinner and it was super. She thanked us over and again. Absolutely made a difference for them.

August 11, 201610 yr I want to qualify my answer a little. I shoot coyotes and do not eat them or expect anyone else too. Their numbers have to be kept in check and the fact is in Ky hunters are the only predator of the coyote.

November 4, 20169 yr It is ONLY because there are fees involved, and hunters are willing to spend lots of dollars to shoot things. Otherwise, this fact is sad but true, because it is clear the general populace doesn't look beyond the end of their nose in protecting our environment, protecting species or protecting space for future generations. How much wildlife management and investment would there be if it wasn't for hunting? Our generation will go down as a self-centered and self-absorbed generation.
