August 4, 201610 yr Phone insurance just dropped me for too many claims. :lol2: :lol2: Overall it worked out pretty well. Insurance company had to upgrade me from 6+ to 6s+ so I got a nicely priced upgrade. I also got a new Lifeproof case free of charge. But I now have to make it 12 months without screwing up my phone.
August 4, 201610 yr I don't know how some folks destroy phones so much. My wife is just like you... Drives me nuts. Who did you have the insurance through? I need to get her some.

The only issue I've ever had was leaving my iPhone 3s on my patio table and it got rained on. Still worked except the bluetooth. Every phone since has always had a case. I had an otterbox on my 5s and lifeproof on my 6. Although i've taken the lifeproof off the 6 because I hated it. Hated the knob that screws in the headphone jack. Would rub the crap out of my finger when trying to hold it. Was also near impossible to flip the ring on/off switch.

I had it through AT&T. Broke two in an Otterbox. Went to Lifeproof, broke the case and never got it fixed. Dropped it in the pool this morning and water was able to get in since the case no longer closed at the charger port.

August 4, 201610 yr Author You shouldn't be allowed to even own a phone anymore! :stop: Or...I should be a product tester for iPhone cases!

August 4, 201610 yr If you broke two in an Otterbox and one in a Lifeproof you are purposely breaking them. :lol2:
August 4, 201610 yr Author How do you destroy a phone in an Otterbox? One went flying off my deck while I was telling a story. One was on the raw end of a bike crash. Otterboxes aren't all that great. I know several people who have had their phone broke or bent in one. The phone survived in the Lifeproof. Just broke the Lifeproof and it didn't fully seal. I hadn't gotten around to getting a free one from them yet and it went swimming this morning.
