I've been hired by the Boone County school district in case this becomes an issue. My services fall under the phrase, "shall take all necessary steps to stop such usage." As I see it, it won't delay the game long, at all. The hardest part will be finding all the pieces and removing them from the field.

Will you be using a turkey choke or full choke? It will definitely effect your range.

I appreciate the spirit and the humor. But considering most people at a FB game would flinch if they heard a shotgun blast — especially a drone operator — don't you think actually shooting one down that way would be pretty difficult? Shotgun goes off, drone operator flinches, sending the drone off in another direction at just the right time for the shot to miss.

 

Sound travels at about 1,200 feet per second and shotgun pellets around same range. As long as you're about the same distance from the drone operator and the drone, he'll twitch about the same time his drone is getting splattered.

The "scatter" in scatter gun should obviate the effect of any twitch (except for the twitching done by those unfortunate souls who may wind up as collateral damage).
