Certainly a more stable Big XII in the future if that goes down. Also love it for Big East basketball. Now that the Big East has no connection to football at all, this really doesn't matter for them.
September 28, 20169 yr Sounds like Boren from OU has changed his mind and is against expansion if you believe some reports. @gametime ? I read an article last night that suggested some Big XII officials were holding out hope until July of this year that Florida State and Clemson were still willing targets... which is wholly remarkable. I don't think they have any idea what they're doing over there.

How much more diluted can you be when you have Kansas and Iowa State in your conference? If they add Houston and BYU, which are the two teams I see them going after what Cincinnati has done lately, it only enhances their product on the field.

I think this whole season is an audition for UC and they are failing. If they expand and don't include Houston then it's a joke and the Big XII will eventually disband. BYU I think gets the most out of this. BYU has the best football program out of every team they are considering. Then if you look at their schedule this year they are clearly loading it up to make an audition by scheduling a lot of power 5 schools.

Not sure I understand why you wouldn't add a program like a Houston or UC or BYU.. Houston especially with that TV market and that program. Adding two programs and becoming a true 12 team conference with a championship game would have done nothing but make that conference closer to SEC.. Makes no sense IMO.
