lawildcat Posted July 20, 2016 Posted July 20, 2016 Mr. Cat and I are going to Hall & Oates tomorrow night and Heart/JJ/Cheap Trick on Friday. Spur of the moment purchases while we were at PNC Friday for Sublime.
littleluck55 Posted July 20, 2016 Posted July 20, 2016 In a week, July 27th Breaking Benjamin and Disturbed.
lawildcat Posted July 20, 2016 Posted July 20, 2016 We are also going to see Rob Zombie and Korn in Noblesville, IN. Got those free with one of my ticketmaster vouchers. I think that's August 6.
TAC Posted July 20, 2016 Posted July 20, 2016 I'll see you guys on Friday at the heart, CT and Jett concert. I'll be in the front row! (Of the lawn). Got my tickets about 2 months ago on groupon for $12.50 a seat. Bought 6.
lawildcat Posted July 20, 2016 Posted July 20, 2016 We are on the lawn also. I normally loathe the lawn because of the youngsters but I figured we were relatively safe with these acts. If you buy at Riverbend's box office, all service fees are waived.
Habib Posted July 20, 2016 Posted July 20, 2016 Seems like everyone I know is going to Hall & Oates. Don't miss Sharon Jones & the Dap Kings if you go too.
ColonelCrazy Posted July 20, 2016 Posted July 20, 2016 My wife & I will be at Hall & Oates tomorrow. Looking forward to it.
All In Posted July 21, 2016 Posted July 21, 2016 My wife & I will be at Hall & Oates tomorrow. Looking forward to it. how was concert?
ColonelCrazy Posted July 21, 2016 Posted July 21, 2016 how was concert? The concert was great. A band named "Trombone Shorty" opened for them, and they were a New Orleans Jazz band. Trombone Shorty was very entertaining. Hall & Oates put on a good show, too. They played basically every hit that I knew, plus a few others. I had heard that Hall & Oates hated each other, and their on-stage chemistry seemed a bit odd, but the music was good. Plus it was beautiful weather.

lawildcat Posted July 23, 2016 Posted July 23, 2016 Did you got to this concert? Said on the news a bad wreck down that way was having a huge affect on getting into the concert We never saw any wreck while on our way to the concert. The right lane getting off at Kellogg was backed up so we went New Richmond and had no problem. Cheap Trick, Joan Jett and Heart were all awesome! Great, great concert!
