July 14, 20188 yr I will comment on the "no sign or not a lighted sign". I have worked ( commercial property management) and lived in Alexandria a long time. Just putting a sign up is not that easy in this town. Many a small business has come and gone and most people didn't even know they were here. How true this is. I was the original owner of the Subway that operates in the Alexandrai Wal-Mart. I/we fought with the city i.e, Mayor Dan McGindley and a total moron who liked to throw his authority around - John Jewel - to put a simple small SUBWAY sign on the facade of the building. I presented photos of other Subway signs on other Wal-Marts. The only reason they would provide me, was that "they wanted our city to look nice." It's a shopping center for gods sake!!! Wal-Mart also petitioned the city to put a directional sign, pointing customers to their automotive section which is around the back of the store. That petition was also turned down. In my brief experience as a businessman in Alexandria, I would attest that, at that time, Alexandria was definitesly anti-business. Hopefully, that has changed under Mayor Rachford. BUT to this day, there is no Subway nor Automotive sign on the Wal-Mart building.
July 22, 20188 yr Author Stopped in Friday Night about 10pm. Had about 50 people still there. They had a new Black IPA, which might be the best I've ever had in that style.
January 25, 20197 yr Author Figured I'd pop my head in and say that I think ABC is still doing pretty well. Seems like a decent amount of patrons whenever I stop in. Probably will tonight about 10pm after I get done with the 2nd job. They are releasing their first Milkshake IPA, I believe its made with Mangos. Looking forward to trying it. They should have some more barrel aged stuff too. The last ones I had when they first opened were awesome!
January 25, 20197 yr I drive past the place every day and it seems to have a good amount of cars in the lot. The only bad experience that I have heard of is they did not handle a private party very well.
January 25, 20197 yr A group of local guys opened one in Henderson last year. Seems to do really well. They have some solid beers.

Hopefully that gets better with time. Service has always been great every time that I've been there.

I have been there about ten times. Always a good time! Their hefeweizen is fantastic! Sometimes, a little too good if you know what I mean.
October 1, 20196 yr Author The Four Mile Pig currently has a Kentucky Cheesesteak and it is delicious. Basically like a grilled cheese with brisket, peppers, and onions. Beers are still good at the brewery too.

July 8, 20206 yr Author For anyone interested, the brewery will have two good food trucks over the next couple of days: Tonight and Friday = SEA Cuisine Thursday, Saturday and Sunday = Prezetfuls I'll be working Friday, Saturday and Sunday if anyone stops in!
