What are people's thoughts on the play at home when Beechwood's guy was called safe, many Conner people thought he was out?

I agree, I saw it from the Conner side and thought that a tag was never applied. Just wanted to hear other's thoughts.

What are people's thoughts on the play at home when Beechwood's guy was called safe, many Conner people thought he was out?

 

I was immediately behind home and had a bad angle (umps are trained to get the correct angle) for the call. I was impressed with the athleticism the runner showed on the slide. To be honest, it was a WOW play.

He was safe. Never got tagged, my angle was good. Bang, Bang play which you would thought he was out, but never tagged.

I agree. Safe. He was able to reach the plate with his hand.

BW ran on the slow delivery. Max had no shot.

I do agree with that. Allow me to clarify, I haven't seen many teams even attempt to run on him this season. Certainly not Max's fault.

 

I would say the biggest problem was that I don't think I saw a single pickoff attempt all game. Have to work them a little bit. Pitchers looks weren't good either. BW was running at will.

This is spot on. I don't remember Nick throwing to 1B one time all game long. Once Volz entered he did lob a couple over there. Kudos to Beechwood. They either had it scouted to a tee, or made a very quick and successful adjustment.
