Augusta had exactly 9 players.

This is why a blind draw is silly. It messes up the balance in the Regional tourney. Nothing against the Camels, but every other team had to fight and claw for a win and the first round, and CC gets an extra day of batting practice.

Where is the outrage because of this score?

No. Nor did there seem to be an outrage over the umps calling Campbell players out when they were safe by 5 steps. Or the strike zone being wider than Robin Kelsh's ego

I could see being an outrage over the score if the varsity players were still in after the 2nd inning but they were pulled after the 1st inning (2 ABs per hitter I think).

Lets see, we started an 8th grade pitcher. Varsity all pulled after one inning. JV played rest of game. Every hit we went base by base by base.

What more can we do...Oh yea, almost forgot, we relieved our 8th grader, WITH ANOTHER 8TH GRADER...

I dont think anyone from Augusta would be upset. We did not rub it in their faces whatsoever.

Who was the other 8th grader?

Honestly not sure his name, he may have been a freshman, but I assumed he was an 8th grader.

Adam Gray (played RF/P for JV) is a freshman you maybe talking about. I think him and Brooks (8th grader) are the youngest players.

Nothing wrong with the way Campbell handled this game. As far as Augusta props to them for making the region. Let me state that the district they are in is a draw district for this reason. To give teams a chance to do something they would otherwise have no shot at. Athletic directors for Augusta and St Pat have there kids best interest at heart when voting for a draw instead of seeding. Tie breaker for seeded districts is usually run differential so that promotes running the score up. I see nothing mentioned of the other districts that are draw. Check and you will see that the district with Madison Central and Southern is draw as well.

No...It wasn't Adam...I think his name was Waggoner...

He (Waggoner) is a senior who gets very little playing time.
