Coach Wendeln has resigned from her position at Boone after one year, leaving the Lady Rebels looking for a new head coach.

Wow. That didn't take long. Really shocked.

She had some HUGE shoes to fill at BC.

And from what I understand went about the job in a completely opposite approach.

First and foremost you have to have control. Beyond that I think any new coach should be buying Coach Fookes dinner and picking her brain.

Exactly what I said.

I would look at the pool of former players who are still in the area. I think the next HC should already be connected to the school in some way.

I can think of a very prominent former Boone player that just graduated from TMC. IDK if she has a teaching degree though.

Thanks for clearing it up

I am trying to be positive.

Any word on this? Summer ball?

Boone played in Ludlow's team camp this past week. There was a coach on their bench, an ex Conner guy. I think his last name is Roller or something similar. Boone has a couple of girls who are very nice players.

So is the job filled?
