Trump vs. Sanders debate will it happen?

Featured Replies

I'd go out on a limb and stay with MSNBC having you hypnotized you probably won't see Trump at anything other than his worst ( which is pretty bad BTW)

GOP frontrunner Donald Trump says he wasn't mocking a New York Times reporter's muscular disorder when he made jerking motions seeming to imitate the man's condition during a speech last week, saying today at a rally in Sarasota, Florida, that he was just showing a reporter who was "groveling."

"I was very expressive in saying it, and they said that I was mocking him," Trump said. "I would never mock a person that has difficulty. I would never do that. I'm telling you, I would never do it."

Trump has insisted that he does not know the reporter, Serge Kovaleski, and was unaware of his condition. Kovaleski has disputed Trump's claim and said he was on a first-name basis with the real estate mogul when he covered him for the New York Daily News in the 1980s.

"I didn't know him, it's possible, probable that I met him somewhere along the line, but I deal with reporters every day," Trump told the crowd. "Now he's going, 'Well he knew me and we were on a first name basis.' Give me a break."

Trump went on say that he doesn't take his imitation back, since he says he was not imitating a disability but a groveling reporter.

No one believes any of that.

I'm just the messenger . I'm not sure of the entire context , whether he knew the reporter or not .

I'm not convinced this would be good for Trump. I think the less he is heard the better chance he has. Any undecideds - those who haven't ruled out HRC for her trust/legal issues and those who haven't ruled out Trump for his conspiracies, likability, trust, etc - will be looking for some sort of policy discussion and a grasp of issues. That doesn't bode well for Trump. He can't just keep yelling "wall/Muslims/rape/murder/Bill Clinton."

I'd be cautious. Bernie is very intelligent even if some of his proposed policies are from way out left. Donald doesn't want to get into a policy discussion with him.

Totally disagree. Capitalism vs Socialism on display would be a good thing. Bernie's love affair with socialism is enough for me to question his intelligence.

Why , Socialism always succeeds , right ? LOL

What you said is as deep as Trump will go.

What you said is as deep as Trump will go.

You know Clyde I have a question. You and others here question Trumps intelligence. Now why is that? Think hard before you answer. We are talking about a guy who has been successful in todays world that not many can say they have achieved. So that alone does not bode well for your or anyone else argument. Now I can understand you not liking his delivery on issues that he is very vocal about but that does not speak to how smart this guy is. Again you may not like his ideas or his delivery but to say or imply which you and alot on here has done is only showing that you are not very smart much like you claim Trump isn't. So who is right here?

Y Again you may not like his ideas or his delivery but to say or imply which you and alot on here has done is only showing that you are not very smart

The person who is "not very smart" would be the person who reads my posts and concludes that I believe Trump isn't very smart. I have no idea how smart he is. I've never once questioned his intelligence.

What I DO know is that he has not gone deep on issues because he doesn't need to. His supporters are fine with his rhetoric , conspiracy theories, and bashing the media. Why change?

So tell me again who's not very smart.

I only take what you say at face value and have called you on it. Good sidestep though. Carry on.

Called me on what? Saying that Trump won't go deep in policy discussion?

Lucky for you that I am heading out for a while. That gives you plenty of time to find supporting evidence for your claim that I don't think Trump is intelligent.

You are like too many on here that assume things that aren't true.

Short, simple, and accurate.

That may be pushing it.

1. Trump being all over the news all day everyday has led to where he is today. Love him or hate your point goes against everything that's led to this point.

2. A child could debate Bernie on policy because his policies are bad math and filled with unrealistic results.
