I would say over regulation and free trade with countries that can manufacture in the complete absence of regulation have more to do with job losses. Unions are generally in decline with declining memberships.

 

Exploiting our fellow man is our nature, and it goes both ways. Companies will exploit workers who do not know the value of their skills. However, unionized labor will always seek compensation that goes beyond what is merited by performance and market forces.
