Does Trump want to allow guns in classrooms?

Featured Replies

Umm I don't think the idea of Chris Kyle is going to help your argument.

Relax, he's dead you don't have to worry about him protecting your country or kids, enjoy your Memorial Day.

Ive said this before, but there is a simple solution to safer schools. Make military personal on their way out, have to be an armed aid in schools. Each school would have to have at least 2. They can carry their weapons concealed. This not only provides safety, but allows for a good transition for military personal into real world dynamics.

Not sure that's a good idea. A lot of these military guys are coming back with PTSD now days. Not sure having them armed in a school is the best idea.

How are schools supposed to pay for the change in the bathrooms for the transgenders?

Why do we need to change bathrooms? I never said we need to do that.

And what exactly does that have to do with this thread?

Obviously..... There would be requirements and screening. Not every soldier in the armed services has seen the active battlefield or has ptsd. I know navy guys who have never served on a boat.what a great recruting tool for the military. All those who want some Bernie Free college sign up.

So its ok to arm them overseas somewhere defending our country but they cant defend our children at home?

Nothing, except where would the money to pay for the changes come from?

I suspect you would be for new taxes to pay for those changes if/when needed.

I think it's pretty cut-and-dry, the gun only comes out during an active shooter situation. No if and or butts. Like I said before if the safe is open more than one person would be notified that the gun is in play. Taking it out for any reason besides an active shooter situation would constitute gross negligence and terminable offense including jail time.

Now this I can get behind. But it would have to be STRICTLY enforced. Like, the first time somebody opens that box when they shouldn't, fire them.

More like go to jail.

Obviously, but with one you get the other in this circumstance.

I'm pretty much against new taxes in any situation, regardless of what it's for.

I don't think you need new taxes. I can guarantee if somebody would run the school budget like a small business you would find tons of money that is misappropriated and wasted. Especially at the school board level. How about some of that federal money. They have trillions of waste. No new taxes just reasonable reallocation of what is already pried from your paycheck.

Look at it this way Congress is getting ready to repeal the funds for the Community eligibility for offering free lunches, so there is some money to funnel to these guns for teachers. Perfect! :jump:

Right, Pelosi must need to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on her office with tax payer money. Screw protecting the kids. The money is there. Anyone who congress who does this crap needs to be fired immediately. Spend it on the right things.

From the article.

"Members can decide for themselves how to spend their allowances. And Pelosi did not exceed hers. So one could argue that while Pelosi decided to prioritize spending for her office space, it didn't cost taxpayers any more, that she simply had less to spend on other things."

I don't disagree that Congress needs to tighten their belt, but this accusation is misleading.
