I think it's about money more than anything. If the Nationals would've been willing to give him a contract extension, he'd have accepted it.

Out of all the things that happened before the season started, Brandon not going to Washington was the strangest, especially after he tweeted he was all but gone to reunite with Dusty. Could his decision to stay in Cincy eventually cost him money or did he make the right decision if it was all about money? I thought Peraza starting at second was all but a done deal

Votto has to be the worst fieldinf first baseman in baseball. You have the shift on a lefty and Votto standing on the first base bag because a runner is on first and a ground ball is hit right at the bag and he misses it. I mean the ball was going to hit him and he missed it.
